In March, 1973, plaintiff, a builder, contracted with defendants to construct an exterior shell of a house on defendants’ property for a contract price of $20,900.00. During the course of construction, plaintiff at the request of the defendants performed certain additional labor and provided certain additional materials for an added cost of $1,482.43 to defendants. In October, defendants became dissatisfied with the plaintiff’s work and ordered him to cease operations. The work was substantially completed at that time.
