In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant appeals (1) from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Huttner, J.), dated June 10, 1993, which, upon a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff and against it in the principal sum of $400,000 representing damages for past and future pain and suffering, denied its motion to set aside the jury verdict, and (2) from a judgment of the same court, entered June 14, 1993, which is in favor of the plaintiff and against it in the principal sum of $400,000.
