Before the Court is the Tran claimants’ “Memorandum of Law Supporting their Recovery of State Law Wrongful Death Damages,”1 as well as an opposition “Mem*608orandum of Law” filed by limitation plaintiff Marquette Transportation Company Gulf-Inland, LLC (“Marquette”).2 For the following reasons, the Court finds that decedent John Tran is a “nonseafarer” for purposes of the Supreme Court’s holding in Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A. v.
