In June, 1923 the defendant was convicted in the district court of Steele county on a charge of possessing and furnishing intoxicating liquors as a beverage. Thereafter he moved for a new trial, which motion was denied. Prom the judgment of conviction and the order denying the motion for a new trial, he now appeals to this court.
