JiLINDSAY, Judge.

The defendant, Claude A. Dance, Jr., appeals from a summary judgment granted in favor of the plaintiff, the Commercial National Bank in Shreveport (CNB), finding that a tax sale of property made to the defendant is an absolute nullity. For the following reasons, we affirm the trial court judgment.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

In 1989, numerous ad valorem tax notices were mailed by the Caddo Parish Sheriffs Office to CNB on property owned by the bank. Each notice included a number, a property description, and the amount of the tax due. A notice was included for the property…
