Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Montgomery County (Going, J.), rendered April 29, 1996, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.

Defendant, then 16 years old, sold cocaine to an undercover police officer and was subsequently charged with four drug-related crimes. He pleaded guilty to the crime of criminal sale *673of a controlled substance in the third degree in full satisfaction of the indictment and was sentenced, in accordance with the plea agreement, to 1 to 3 years in prison.
