Both of these cases involved the same question, and were argued together on demurrers to the bills filed.
The Pencader Presbyterian Church was organized, at least, as early as 1710, and is, therefore, one of the oldest churches in this State. The original deed for the church property does not seem to be recorded, but the complainants in that bill allege, on information and belief, that the land on which the church is erected at Glasgow, New Castle County, Delaware, is a part of the same land conveyed by the deed of Margaret Williams, widow and executrix of Roger Williams, to…
