ROBERT MADDEN HILL, Circuit Judge:
In this appeal we are faced with the issue of whether Texas law permits the recovery of damages for mental anguish that results from the breach of a settlement agreement. We hold that it does not.

Jimmy Dean and his brother, Don Dean, have been feuding for a number of years. Their animus originates from the time when they were co-adventurers in the Jimmy Dean Meat Company, Inc.
