This bridge was used to carry railroad tracks and traffic over the east approach and the drawbridge. A general plan had been adopted and followed for the con*155struction of the four-foot-wide sidewalk on the west approach in 1912, being the plan referred to in the special verdict supra. This general plan was followed to a large extent in building the east sidewalk here in question, the only material difference being mentioned below.
