The plaintiff, San Jacinto Rice Company, instituted this suit in the district court of Harris county, Tex., in October, 1911, naming the following defendants: Houston Transportation Company, Buffalo Bayou Company, Galveston, Harrisburg & Houston Transportation Company, and Fay-ette Jones.
Plaintiff alleged, in substance, that it was a riparian owner of lands on both sides of the San Jacinto river, in Harris county, Tex., and about six miles from the mouth of that river; that said river was a navigable stream; .that it was engaged in raising rice, and had installed, at great expense, pumping…
