This is an action brought by the United States National Bank of Portland (Oregon) to recover from the defendants the sum of $2,679.10 with interest, being the aggregate amount of nine school district warrants drawn on the St. Helens Branch of the plaintiff bank and deposited by defendants with its head office in Portland. Defendants were given credit for the amounts of the warrants in their deposit account and subsequently, through withdrawals, closed out the account.
