Action was brought by the plaintiff against the defendant in the Court of Common Pleas of Orangeburg County to recover actual and punitive damages on account of injuries alleged to have been received by the plaintiff in an automobile collision, it being charged that such injuries were caused by the negligence and willfulness of a son of the defendant, who was driving an automobile belonging to her. The case was tried.before his Honor, Judge E. C. Dennis, and the jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for actual damages.…
