This is a motion made by appellees'to dismiss the appeal on the ground that the same was not taken within six months from the rendition of the judgment appealed from, the time prescribed by statute for taking appeals to this court. Crawford & Moses’ Digest, § 2140. The action was instituted in the circuit court of Pulaski County by appellees against appellants to recover possession of a certain tract of land, and there was a trial of the issues before a jury, which resulted in a verdict and a judgment against appellants for the recovery of the land in controversy.
