This is a proceeding under ORS 23.789(2) to require the defendant mother to make child support payments to the Department of Human Resources. The mother appeals from an order requiring her to pay the sum of $20 per month. We affirm.

On September 12, 1978, the state filed a petition indicating that petitioner Adult and Family Services Division (AFSD) was providing support for Shane McDonald, that respondent Margaret Carol McDonald was Shane’s mother, and that she owed Shane a duty of support.
