ORDER SUSTAINING UNITED STATES OBJECTION TO EXEMPTION
MARGARET A. MAHONEY, Bankruptcy Judge.
This case is before this court on the objection to exemptions filed by the United States in the Pigotts’ case. The Government objects to the debtors’ exemption of a 2004 federal tax refund of $5,125. This court has jurisdiction to hear this matter pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § § 157 and 1334 and the Order of Reference of the District Court. This matter is a core proceeding pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 157(b)(2) and the court has the authority to enter a final order. For the reasons indicated below, the court is…
