MAGILL, Circuit Judge.
This appeal follows the jury trial of a civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Plaintiffs, prisoners incarcerated at the Missouri Training Center for Men (MTCM) in Moberly, Missouri, sued MTCM and Missouri State Penitentiary (MSP) officials, claiming that beatings by prison guards following a prison riot violated plaintiffs’ constitutional rights. After a five-day trial, the jury returned a verdict for plaintiffs, awarding both compensatory and punitive damages. We affirm the district court1 in all respects.
