I. NATURE AND STAGE OF THE PROCEEDINGS

This is a civil action for review of an administrative decision denying Plaintiffs claim for disability insurance benefits. Plaintiff filed his Complaint in this Court on June 2, 1994. [Docket Item (“D.I.”) 1].

On August 12, 1994, in response to Plaintiffs Complaint, the Government filed a Motion for Remand. (D.I. 7). In support of this Motion, the Government asserts that the Appeals Council of the Department of Health and Human Services wishes to take further administrative action. (D.I. 7, ¶ 1).
