J. HARVEY HUDSON, Justice.

Grey Wolf Drilling Company, L.P., appeals the trial court’s judgment in favor of Denfer Boutte on his premises liability claim for damages sustained as a result of a fall while working on the rig. We affirm.

Anschutz Exploration Corporation operated the Benton Trust # 1 Well in Fort Bend County, Texas. Grey Wolf and An-schutz entered into a drilling contract under which Grey Wolf would perform the drilling work on the well. Anschutz also hired Halliburton Energy Services to “log” the well, ie., creating a log showing the temperature and depth of the well.…
