The appellant, Jack Dzurian Dubose, was charged in eight separate indictments with eight counts of forgery in the second degree and eight counts of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree. (Each two-count indictment contained one forgery count and one possession of a forged instrument count.) Pursuant to a plea bargain agreement, the appellant pleaded guilty to the eight forgery charges, and the eight possession of a forged instrument charges were dismissed.
