This is an appeal from a judgment of the district court for York county in favor of the plaintiff, Doctor James Norris Plumb, who for more than 20 years has been a duly licensed physician practicing his profession in York county.

It appears that the plaintiff, during the years 1907,1908, and part of the year 1909, was under contract with York county to give medical attendance to the inmates of the poor farm and the prisoners in the county jail of said county, for which he was to receive the sum of $5 a month.
