INTRODUCTION AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY
The instant consolidated adversarial proceedings present an interesting procedural issue regarding the role of bankruptcy courts in deciding discharge-ability complaints, a novel substantive issue regarding interpretation of 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(7), and a difficult and detailed factual analysis to resolve claims raised under 11 U.S.C. §§ 523(a)(2)(A) and 523(a)(6).
