Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Cortland County (Avery, Jr., J.), rendered May 8, 2001, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of attempted rape in the first degree, sexual abuse in the first degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree and menacing in the third degree.
