This case involves an altercation in which appellants Dent, Chappell and Adams, each armed with a different weapon, 1 beat and injured complainant Herndon. Appellants Dent and Chappell were each convicted of two counts of assault with intent to kill while armed (AWIK) and one count of simple assault.
