The foundation of this suit is the following contract :
“For and in consideration of the sum of three thousand five hundred ($3,500) dollars, cash in hand paid to us by L. W. Snyder, agent for Anderson-Tully Company, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, we, T. K. Lee and J. P.
