This appeal is from a judgment for personal damages in the total sum of $5,517.50 for injuries received by a minor child late in the afternoon on December 16, 1956, as a result of an intersection collision between two automobiles occurring at a point where Quirt Avenue intersects McKenzie Freeway within the city limits of Lubbock, Texas.
