Jerry Ogborn sued his former employer, Local 881 of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, as well as the union’s vice president, Steven Powell, alleging that Local 881 fired him in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101-17, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 2601-54, and that the union and Vice President Powell committed various torts in connection with Ogborn’s termination.
