This case was tried in a bench trial before the Honorable Lisa A. Richette on charges of murder,1 voluntary manslaughter,2 involuntary manslaughter,3 simple assault4 and aggravated assault,5 reckless endangerment6 and failure to stop, identify and render aid,7 arising out of a homicide by vehicle on June 30, 1992, in the death of Jeremiah Cobb, age five, and injury to Terrell Dekeyser, also five years of age.
