This action was brought by Jimmy Barber of Taylorsville, Mississippi, against his former employer, Nabors Drilling, U.S.A., Inc. (hereinafter “Nabors”), a subsidiary of Na-bors Industries of Houston, Texas, claiming a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (hereinafter “ADA”). 42 U.S.C. § 12101, et seq. Nabors refused to allow Barber to return to his job as a toolpusher on an oil drilling rig after he received treatment for a back injury (bulging disc)…
