These three cases are appeals, by as many different persons, from the same decree of the probate court for the county of Penobscot appointing Elliot Walker administrator on the estate of William Shaw.

The petition alleges that Shaw was a citizen of Massachusetts; that he died “August 31, 1882 intestate, seized and possessed of personal estate in said county, exceeding twenty dollars in value, which ought to be administered according to law; that said deceased died leaving real estate in said county of more than twenty dollars in value, and owing debts to more than the amount of twenty dollars,…
