Mauger & Company, Inc. (Employer) files a Petition for Review appealing an Order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board, affirming the Decision of the Referee granting the Fatal Claim Petition of Vera Waltz (Claimant) filed on behalf of her deceased husband, Harry Waltz.
On May 20, 1983, the deceased, Harry Waltz, who was employed as a gasoline truck driver by the Employer, suffered a work-related injury for which he received temporary total disability compensation when a 30-pound cast iron nozzle fell on his left foot.
