SANBORN, Circuit Judge.

The parties will be referred to as in the court below, appellant as plaintiff, and appellees as defendants. This is an appeal from a judgment entered upon a directed verdict in an action brought against the defendants, the Underwriters’ Grain Association and 112 insurers doing business in Iowa, upon a contract of fire insurance covering a building and its contents belonging to the plaintiff.
