During the early part of the year 1927, plaintiff, Joseph Steckler, desiring to dispose of certain household articles including pictures, furniture, etc., arranged with defendant, Paul T. Spicuzza, a licensed and bonded auctioneer, for the sale of the said articles.
This suit is for the alleged value of three items, which according to plaintiff, have never been accounted for by the auctioneer.
Union Indemnity Company was surety on the bond of the auctioneer, executed in compliance with the provisions of section 140 of the Revised Statutes of Louisiana as amended by Act 45 of 1908, and that…
