The trial court directed a verdict at the conclusion of plaintiff’s evidence. The majority of the court have, we think, overlooked or misinterpreted some of the vital facts in the evidence, quite likely through their understanding that the plaintiff’s case in reality rested upon the last clear chance doctrine, and that her claim, though pressed in argument and brief that the issue of contributory negligence was for the jury, was purely perfunctory. For this reason we state some of the facts which the jury had sufficient evidence before them to have found.
