The defendant, Danny Williams, was charged by indictment with two counts of armed robbery. Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Will County, verdicts of guilty as to each count were returned. Subsequently, the defendant was sentenced to two concurrent six-year terms of imprisonment. The sole issue on appeal is whether the court erred in denying defendant credit for time served pursuant to perjury and obstruction of justice charges, which were subsequently dropped.
