This is an action to recover damages for breach of an alleged contract. At the time of the transactions here in issue, the plaintiff was a corporation engaged in the manufacture and sale of flour at St. Louis in the State of Missouri. The plaintiff employed as its agents respecting trade in Sweden and Norway, Noremberg and Belsheim of Christiania in Norway, who hereafter for convenience will be referred to as the agents.
