Action on the case to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been caused by defendant’s negligent operation of his automobile on Silver Street in the city of Water-ville on the twelfth day of September, 1932. At nisi prihs the plaintiff recovered a verdict of $6,791.00. The case comes forward on motion for new trial and exceptions.

*461The ground of exception that the trial court erred in refusing to grant the defendant’s motion for a directed verdict will be considered in connection with the motion for new trial.
