(“BNY Mellon”) appeals from the judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Engelmayer, /.) declaring that the Notice of Special Early Redemption issued by plaintiff Chesapeake Energy Corporation (“Chesapeake”) on March 15, 2013 was timely and effective to redeem certain senior notes (the “Notes”) at the “Special Price” of 100% of the principal amount, plus interest accrued to the date of redemption.
