Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Chenango County (Sullivan, J), rendered December 16, 2011, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of burglary in the second degree.
Defendant was indicted and charged with burglary in the second degree in connection with an incident that occurred at a residence located at 22 Beebe Avenue in the Town of Norwich, Chenango County. At the conclusion of a two-day jury trial, defendant was convicted as charged and thereafter was sentenced as a second felony offender to six years in prison followed by five years of postrelease supervision.…
