The defendant Bloomberg was acquitted upon an indictment charging him in the first count with burning a building in violation of G. L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 266, § 1, as amended by St. 1932, c. 192, § 1, and in the second count with burning with intent to defraud the insurers in violation of G. L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 266, § 10, as amended by St. 1932, c. 192, § 7. The defendant Hoffman was acquitted upon a similar indictment.
