ORDER

STAFFORD, District Judge.

On August 11, 1977, the court ruled that plaintiff was the prevailing party and ordered defendants to pay reasonable attorney’s fees pursuant to the Civil Rights Attorney’s Fees Awards Act of 1976, 42 U.S.C. § 1988. Subsequently, the court ordered the submission of memoranda and set a hearing to resolve certain legal questions concerning the application of the Act to this case.
