On April 11, 1985, plaintiff filed suit under the Labor Management Relations Act against General Pipe Covering, Inc., and others seeking enforcement of an arbitration award. See 29 U.S.C. § 185. Plaintiff is the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers, Local Union No. 34 (Asbestos Workers Union), and is a labor organization representing employees in an industry affecting commerce. 29 U.S.C. § 141 et seq.
