—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Fisher, J.), rendered June 27, 1996, convicting her of murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and sentencing her to concurrent indeterminate terms of 23 years to life imprisonment for the conviction of murder in the second degree and 5 to 15 years imprisonment for the conviction of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

Ordered that the judgment is modified, as a matter of discretion in the interest of justice, by reducing the sentence…
