Following their separation from employment, William and Jacqueline McDonald brought this action, alleging that their former employer, PAR Hospitality, LLC (PAR), violated the Wage Act, G. L. c. 149, §§ 148 and 150, and the minimum fair wage law, G. L. c. 151, § 1 et seq. (MFWL).3 After a four-day trial, the jury, answering special questions, found that the McDonalds had not proven their Wage Act claims.
