This is a petitiory action for the recovery of a tract of unimproved land situated between Lakes Maurepas and Pontchartrain, at a point near which the track of the defendant railroad company intersects Pass Manchac, in the vicinity of New Orleans. This tract embraces three hundred and ninety-eight and 16-100 superficial acres, and is of the following description, viz: All of fractional section fifteen (15), and north half of fractional section twenty-two (22) in township nine (9) south, of range eight (8) east in southeastern land district,…
