On January 12, 1979, Jeremy, approximately four years of age, was declared a dependent child of the Mono County Juvenile Court pursuant to the provisions of Welfare and Institutions Code section 300, subdivision (d). The child was removed from the custody of his mother, Janet, the custodial parent, and placed with the probation officer of Mono County for foster placement in the home of Tim and Ellen Devore.
