This is a habeas corpus proceeding in which the relators, two juveniles, seek to set aside judgments of the juvenile court for Hickman County, Tennessee, adjudging them to be delinquent and committing them to the custody of the State Department of Corrections. The grounds of their attack are (1) that they were denied their constitutional right to the assistance of counsel, (2) that their guilty pleas were not voluntarily and knowingly entered and (3) that their trial before the juvenile court violated their due process rights under the Fourteenth Amendment to the…
