This action arises out of the repossession and sale by defendants Central Iowa Production Credit Association (CIPCA) and Belle Plaines Livestock Auction, Inc. (BPLA) of cattle on the farm of William Irvine believed by them to secure a note held by CIPCA on which Mr. Irvine was in default. 1 Plaintiffs allege that a number of the cattle repossessed and sold were leased to Mr. Irvine by them and that the defendants’ action with regard to those cattle amounted to conversion for which plaintiffs are…
