HAMITER, Judge.

The owner of a house in the City of Shreveport, Louisiana, and her insurer are the defendants in this tort action. Plaintiff alleges:

“That on the 10th day of October, 1938, at about 8:30 o’clock P. M., your petitioner lawfully went on said porch of said house for the purpose of inquiring as to a reported future vacancy of the premises and residence, and after finishing conversing with the occupants of the house, petitioner proceeded across the porch to said steps for the purpose of descending the steps to the ground.
