On July 10, 1958 the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico filed in the Superior Court, San Juan Part, a condemnation proceeding to acquire a parcel of land of 134 thousandths cuerda, equivalent to 526.63 square meters, owned by defendant Mercedes de la Torre, and it deposited the sum of $5,500 as fair and reasonable compensation.
