This is an ad valorem tax appéal case in which United Airlines challenges the Harris County Appraisal District’s valuation of property owned by United. United exhausted its administrative remedies by protesting the valuation to the appraisal review board. United then sought judicial review by timely filing an appeal of the valuation of the appraisal review board to the district court pursuant to Chapter 42 of the Tax Code.
